Coming in 2027Skills Acquisition Programme

- Cake making & confectionery
- and more
School opens the door. A skill keeps it open.
Since 2021, our Student Support Programme has kept vulnerable children in school by paying fees and exam costs, feeding students and supporting girls. Skills for Life carries that support beyond the classroom.
Each young person chooses a trade that fits their interests, abilities and ambitions, then learns it properly from a qualified trainer, with materials provided and the Foundation checking in all year.
Pick a craft
Skills on offer depend on qualified trainers being available near our beneficiaries.
Two ways to deliver it
Train together at the Foundation, or with a master trainer near home.
Each beneficiary is paired with a qualified trainer close to where they live.
- Training at the trainer's workshop on weekends
- Trainer support paid in three instalments of ₦120,000
- The Foundation monitors every beneficiary's progress
- The Foundation provides all training materials
The training week
Weekend training at a workshop near the beneficiary's home.
