Education is the surest way out of poverty.
Edu-Kids Foundation is a non-profit established in 2021, dedicated to providing educational and psychosocial support to orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs).
Our vision
A society where every vulnerable child has equal opportunities to learn, thrive and achieve their full potential, regardless of their background or financial circumstances.
Our mission
To empower orphans and vulnerable children through access to quality education, psychosocial support, essential services and opportunities that promote their wellbeing and development.
Where we work
We work across all 3 senatorial districts of Ondo State, Nigeria, and have reached 51 schools so far. Our office is in Akure.
Our journey
2021–2026- 2021Edu-Kids Foundation is founded and the Student Support Programme begins with 23 students.
- 2022Sanitary and menstrual-hygiene support starts for girls in the programme.
- 2023Registered with Nigeria's Corporate Affairs Commission on 22 February 2023 (Incorporated Trustees, no. 6885718).
- 2024The feeding scheme is introduced for every school-support student.
- 202645 students supported in a single year, and our first five-year impact report is published.
